i have a cannon sd400, do you know if this camera is good for aquarium picture taking, ive experimented some and got ok results, nothing like what i see on the net and stuff. the camera has macro mode and iso settings up to 400. i think i got the hang of using the camera but again just wondering if it is a good camera for reef pictures.

thanks

Gee, there was just a really great podcast on photography... I'm new to aquarium photography but sometimes actually get paid to take pictures. My personal thoughts are that you will sometimes get OK images with a point & shoot but to get consistently good images you need an SLR.

I have the SD450 and I LOVE IT!! Check out my photo gallery for my macros- the photos say which digicam I'm using- look at that since I have 2 digicams.
