i would go Nova Extreme with individual reflectors and as many bulbs as you can get.

Hi Romine,
If your tank is 60 wide x24 tall x18 deep (think that is what you mentioned in another thread) then 2x24w T5's isn't going to be a whole lot of light on a 24" deep tank. It would probably be ok if your tank is Fish Only with Live Rock (FOWLR).
I appreciate 5ft fixtures can be hard to come by though for a 60" tank and can be frustrating depending upon where your braces are across the top of the tank. There are a couple of options for 60", depending on budget and what you want to keep finally in the tank.
One would be individual MH pendants, 2 or 3, 250w or 400w should work nicely for a 60" wide tank, you may be able to get away with just 2 x 400w pendants if you hang them a little higher. Also if you went with higher Kelvin MH bulbs (14k/15k/20k, depending on manufacturer) you might not require supplimental actinics but in that instance again you would need 400w as you lose a lot of par the higher the Kelvin rated bulbs you lose.
There are some 60" combo fixtures available, Current USA do a 60" HQI/PC fixture, that has 2 x 175w HQI's and 2 x 130W PC (has some moonlights as well). Current USA also do a 60" HQI/T5 fixture, which would imho be better, that has 2 x 150w HQI and 4 x 54w T5's. Sadly both fixtures would run you $700-$800 new. You could get some "cheaper" comparable fixtures from ebay, or 2nd hand...
A lot really depends what you want to keep in your tank, if it is fish only, then it does not matter so much. If you want LPS then you really are pushing towards lots of T5's or Metal Halide lights. If you want light demanding SPS down the road you really should look at Metal Halides, 250/400w.
If you go with T5's, as Bobby said, go with as many as you can cram above the tank and each with individual reflectors!
Warm Regards,

hello,
thanks everyone...
now i was wondering if ,i would to buy 2 -30" fixtures ,maybe one t5 and the other halides,or a 24" halide and 36"t5,if that would be better,i have a oceanic 110 gal tank ,there a very thick 1/2 "piece of glass 16 " long ,that has a center brace /bracket ,i think its for 30" fixtures.but the glass is not very clear,so i think its stopping light flow thur it.i've even considered maybe 2 -24" FIXTURES,would that work ?//
maybe one day ( many months}i'll upgrade everything ,including my tank, but for now i'm happy with what i have ,i love my tank ,and everyone who see it does too.
you all are helpful .
oh yes after i wrote my option ,i found out that they wre same company ..duhhh to me !!

I think going with 2 fixtures may be the ticket. How wide is it from the side to the brace? You may not be satisfied with the results if you have 2 different lights i.e. T5's on one side and MH on the other. I think that it will look funny because the lights would be different colors and intensities.

i agree with carmie, two different lights would look odd. i would at the very least go with t5s but 2 MH pendants would be fine too. i would probably go with the halides. you would need 2 pendants or 2 retro kits.
