I wanted to post this thread for anyone who might be interested and as a way to track my tank progress.
Tank size: 65 gallon

Filtration/Water movement: magnum 350 canister, BakPak CPR skimmer, two maxi jet 1000's, working to set up a refugium. "Im very excited about the refugium".

Lighting: 270 watts PC. Thinking about building a canopy with VHOs

Livestock: Two Ocellaris Clownfish, Strawberry Pseudochromis, 4 snails, 4 Red Legged Hermit crabs

The tank has been set up for about 2 months.
I'll try and post some pics in the next couple days.
I hope to have my refugium set up in the next couple weeks. Eventually I want to add a couple more fish and some corals as my lighting setup will allow.

Hey Merlin! Looks good. I like the aquascaping with the large arch in the center. I myself like plenty of beach front sand in my tank. If you were planning on doing corals, it looks like it will have a nice lay out for them.

Thanks, I put the tank up with stuff I had here and want to work toward being able to keep some corals. I have been listening to the lighting podcast and thinking about light design. I'm also working on a refugium. I was going to post pics of the fuge but my camera batteries are dead. Ill have to wait.
