Quick question for anyone who has kept these really cool fish before. What do you think is the minimum size for companion fish? I have two smallish clowns and i don't want them to be eaten by a new comet!

I haven't added a comet yet, but i would like to soon.

How big is you're tank?

100 gallon long. 6 feet left to right, 1.5 feet tall, 1.5 feet deep.

The only things in there at the moment are: 2 juvie clowns, 2 bangaii cardinals, 2 scarlet cleaner shrimp, and a grip of hermits, snails, etc.

One clown is 1.5 inches long and about a half inch tall. The other is 2 inches long and about 3/4 of an inch tall.

They eat shrimp...and may bother the hermits too.

Typically kept with boxfish and others of the same size and mannerism... Just don't keep them with agressive eaters or they may not get their share.

Can and sometimes does eat cardinals, firefish and other small, non agressive fish.

Best of luck.. they are "purdy", but with soo much glam and glitter...you'd think they'd show it off. Instead, they spend a LOT of time in the live rock, hiding. Much like some wrasse or pseudachromis.
