As Vice-President and Saltwater Chairman of the Raleigh Aquarium Society I would like to extend a personal invitation to you to attend the 24th Annual Carolina Aquarium Workshop February 29 - March 2, 2008. This year's Workshop has a new venue, NCSU's Centennial Campus. You won't want to miss this regional event featuring national speakers! Brian Plankis of ProjectDIBS and James Fatherree are our featured saltwater speakers this year. This is our best saltwater line up ever!

More information is available at Raleigh Aquarium Society - Annual Workshop and Auction (http://raleighaquariumsociety.org/workshop/index.html).

James Fatherree has had a conflict and will not be able to make our Workshop. However we are fortunate that Scott Fellman is available!

There will be a frag swap on Friday evening. On Saturday we will have hands on fragging demonstrations throughout the day. We will provide some corals or if you have a coral that you would like to learn to frag you may bring your own. There will be a bubble tip anemone propagation demonstration at 2:30 PM.

LOL, I'm stuck in the 60's where chairman was a neuter term. You know V, you are only a short 20 hour flight away! It would be fun to have us all meet in person but I will be sure to lock up the scooter!

I just wanted to tell you all how great the Workshop was! If you haven't heard Brian Plankis speak you really should! If you haven't gotten involved with ProjectDIBS you really should do that too! Brian's talk has inspired one of the owner's of a LFS to change what they sell!

Scott Fellman's talk about aquascaping was good as well. He reminded us to just say no to rock walls! It made me think of the new aquacaping Bobby and Dick have recently done.
