48" Refugium, Sump, Wet Dry, Aquarium Filter, Reef - eBay (item 200189241090 end time Jan-13-08 17:17:01 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/48-Refugium-Sump-Wet-Dry-Aquarium-Filter-Reef_W0QQitemZ200189241090QQihZ010QQcategoryZ46310 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

I need some advice on A sump/refugium for under my 6' 125 gallon? I am interested in getting this sump but I also have a concern, would it be wrong to protein skim after the Refugium?

If not how hard is it to plumb a Euro Reef simmer externally (out of the sump)?

I think you could get a lot more for a lot less! You could probably add a 55 gallon to act as a sump and refugium for much less than $350.00. If you are even slightly handy you could baffle off the 55 with the Euroreef for probably less than $100.00.

I would put the return in the middle and put the drain/skimmer on one side and the 'fuge on the other with a "T" off the return pump to feed the refugium.
