I was wondering if these ballasts would fire an xm 10000k bulb?

The first link doesn't work for me, but the second one looks bare bones.

Unless you really know what you are doing I would not go this route. As long as the wattage is correct and the ballast has the correct starter for that XM bulb it should work. I've never assembled one from the ground up though.

i agree, i would just look into a ballast made for this hobby. i will be selling 3 250w magnetic ballasts in a few months.

It's hard to tell which one you are talking about but it looks as if it's the ballast without an enclosure. I would personally use them but I have the enclosures to put them in. I would never run them without an enclosure because I'd hate to have that kind of voltage available for someone to get zapped.
