can anyone identify this snail? its right under the bottem my green bubble see it?? is it good for the tank/corals/fish or a hazard? is it a coral eater? i never purchased them, they appeared after a few months of having my tank up, and they are multiplying like gremlins at midnight lol. they dont bother me unless i find out they are eating my corals. they are shaped like oval at the bottem and come to a perfect tip at the top, when i heard about pyramid snails i thought thats what these were because they're shape looks somewhat like a pyramid, but when i googled it, it doesnt look like them.

I think it is a limpet. In my experience they are harmless algae eaters.

It is not a pyramid snail. Pyramid snails are taller. I cannot see the foot, but would concur that it is a limpit. But don't take my word for it, I'm just a beginner. :)

great thanks, it looked like a limpet to me too but when i saw a photo of one online the shell color was more black with a little yellow at the tip, not the same color as the ones i have in my tank. but im glad they are harmless thanks much.
