Here is a wonderful way to get some cheap, renewable, eco-friendly electricity for powerheads. Hey, it might even make a great wavemaker if you can train it.

Set up a separate aquarium for an electric eel and add a power outlet to the side of the tank! Might have to talk to the eel about putting out the correct 120 (or 220) voltage.
