i just noticed that Rob has added the thanks button to the bottom right corner of all posts. this is a great addition to the site.

all you have to do is hit the button on a useful post and it will thank the person that helped you automatically. a little box will pop up under the post that you are thanking instantly.

Thanks for pointing this out. You can also add to someone's reputation by clicking on the http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/sr/buttons/reputation.gif (http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/reputation.php?p=63982) under their name.

i had been thinking about adding that feature for a while. and since i was in there working on things i figured it was time
i updated a lot of the code and features here, and added that one....
hopefully it help :)

Here are no real rewards...
There are two main reasons for this feature.

1.) Recognize people for making good posts and supplying helpful information.
2.) Reducing post boosting by removing the need for "thanks" and "thank you" type posts.
