this just started to happen recently. looks like there is a rip in its skin. any chances on saving it? any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive got to say keys, im pulling in others opinions on this coral
it looks like a typical daughter split, with all the stresses on the animal associated with it, but i dont know whether its just cause the light, the time, or the general health, but something looks wrong. what did the animal look like before this, a full coral head?

holy crap batman, what recently happened in your tank??
truth be known coverage doesn't have to be uniform, cause on full inflate they can span a huge area. essecially if you feed em well. But yeah, i think you might have a problem. Wait for the others advise. although if you suspect die back, it might be time to move it before they start poluting.

i have to agree, BUT i would keep an eye on it for a little while longer. it could be a perfectly normal expelling waste process or another head forming. i would not remove it until it is definitely dead.

unfortunately, probably not much that you can do for it, but keep an eye on it. it does not look like it has to much flow on it from the pics, if it does ... i would move it to a lower flow area and try some target feeding. you would be amazed at what some food can do for a living thing.

it used to be right there between the fuzzy mushrooms and the candy cane. now i moved it over down to the side.

the tear is getting worse and worse by the hour it seems

AND also i moved my hammer coral close to my frogspawn. just making sure, they can be next to each other with no problems right?

in the last picture of the bubble, it looks like it is splitting and forming another head.
the euphyllia should be fine next to each other.
