so it has a round head lots of little clear legs and the rear of this pic looks like a v but when he moved it has three appendages with what looks like a anus in the middle. Ive cheked all my books. help .white at bottom of rock

Some kind of worm. Bristle Worm maybe. Can't tell in those pictures.

it looks like a flatworm to me.. but not the planaria type.

what I think I saw looked like a feather duster type worm, the ones with the encrusting tubes growing on the rock....but if it was moving, then I must not have seen (or thought what I saw) that you are describing. sorry.

oh man stonepilot....you lost your skunk over this? Sorry about that!

check out this thread (http://www.reefs.org/library/article/clarke_shimek.html) about the critters. If you've got them in your tank, you might have a very hard time getting rid of them and they could potentially attack one fish after the other.

Have you seen more of them?

reefbaby, darlin picture. I have seen no more and the skunk cleaner is fine he at the squished pod. glad the pods gone but will study to see if more pop up. thanks for your concern. so how old, mine is 8 now and he cant stay away from the tank. set up on a friday, could get to sleep the whole weekend. he is the best dont know what I d do with out him, got full custoy when he was 2. have a great weekend.
