Well it's official on October 03, 2007 at 12:26pm Jayson Michael Natal was born at 34 weeks and 4 days. He is currently in hte Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York and doing quite well. It has only been 3 days now and he has gone from assisted breathing to breathing on his own and taking bottles like a little hungry man.

Phurst, definitely an awesome feeling. My mother couldn't believe I was crying when I got to hold him. An earth moving experience in my book.

Congratulations on your new blessing. He is in my prayers for speedy progress. (Our son was born at 36 weeks. It took him a while to get on the growth charts but he is now a big burly 19 year old and you would never dream that he was a tiny premie.)

Congrats, went through something similar last year. It's not easy, but it's well worth it.

Thank you all. Sorry for not replying earlier. I have been driving back and forth to the hospital at least twice to bring him his food and spend some time with him. He is doing great and expected to leave the hospital on Monday.

first i will like to say congratulations on your new borne second my first baby girl was borne at only 6 1/2 months and only 1 1/2lb and to tell you the doctors only gave her 12hr to live she is now 11 years old trust me on this one you boy will do good and to say preemies they are really smart more then a regular borne

Manny, that is interesting. For what it is worth, our son is smarter than the average bear.

Well everyone our son is finally home and doing well. The Pediatrician has giving him a clean bill of health and says he is extremely healthy. Thank you all for the blessings.
