It's a 300 gallon tank, they'll be fine as the sharks i chosse will not outgrow it.
It's 96" long 30" w and 24"h i went with the 30" width instead of the heigth to give them room to swim side to side which is more important than vertical height  Rob's Reef 10-06-2007, 02:56 AM again the sharks i have are not very active swimmers.
I wouldn't put smooth hounds or leopard sharks in here as they should be left in the ocean....
all though i would like to have a tank some day to house some active swimming sharks... :) Amphibious 10-06-2007, 11:57 AM Nice Rob,

Naw i'm kidding, thats a sweet tank!!! freakin huge! my friend used to have a predatory tank like that, with a shark a ray, then an eel. In the end, the eel ended up chewing up the other two. wow that picture really shows off the size of the tank. great perspective. Thanks,
Yeah it's a pretty big tank! 96" I've got that one and my 235G corner tank in my living room... one on each side of the tv ;p Always something to watch during commercials ;p clownfish4me 10-13-2007, 06:48 AM i love the tank! are you going to put any more live rock in for the tangs? i know there grazers and enjoy picking at the rock. it looked like you had just the one large piece. ? There is another large rock on the other end of the tank... I try to keep it open so the sharks have plenty of room to swim. JustDavidP 10-18-2007, 02:27 PM Those Sergeant Majors are nasty buggers. I literally have marks on my arms and legs from my recent trip to Bermuda. All the nice tangs, parrots etc. kept their distance and posed for pictures. Not the SM's though...they tried eating me for dinner.
Nice set up.

Yeah he's a feisty little sucker that's for sure!
The Sailfin and Pacific Blue dont take no crap from him tho... He used to be smaller than them both so i think they put him in check a while back ;p |
