I got a beautiful pair of tank-raised maroon clowns a few days ago. I noticed that they were hosting in the corner of the nano they came from, but thought nothing of it. Now I put them into my 29, and they are hosting in the corner again! There are tons of nice spots for them in the tank, but they just won't check them out... I know Rob mentioned a method of getting them to host in an anemone, but what about zoos? Or even just getting them to move from where they are... any ideas? I've tried the method of feeding onto the zoos with no luck

interesting, maybe there not settled yet, you said you only had them for a few days. do you know how long the store had them? id give them some more time to acclimate and feel comfortable. keep us updated....

The LFS had them paired up for about a month, they removed them from the initial shipment of around 20 juveniles and put them in a nano display tank. However, the LFS was tearing down the nano on the day I walked in, and there were none of the original shipment left, so I happily took them. I'm not sure that it's a settling in issue though. I know they were hosting in the corner of the nano as well, so I'm thinking they're gonna stick it out. I'd like to get them out of there before they settle in, but i'm not sure about the best method

How about sticking a powerhead in the corner?
