Someone should post instructions, or Rob should put out a show on how to make an auto top off for a nano! I loved the one on the tube fuge and this would also be great.

if the nano has a sump, it would be the same set up as a large tank. if we are talking about a stand alone nano cube like Carmies, then i would think that a pressure switch would be the way to go with that.

And I just top off the old fashioned way, by pouring a liter or so of water into my nano everyday.

This what we do in Australia Taken from Reefing the Australian Way (http://www.masa.asn.au)
I have running my setup for 9 months without missing a beat. I just only now need to remember to fill the top off tank about once every week or two.

We use the instructions from the ATJ's Marine Aquarium Site - DIY - Auto Top-off II (http://www.petsforum.com/personal/trevor-jones/autotopoff2.html)

The ones we are ordering are from Williamson Pumps (http://www.williamsonpumps.co.uk/200/200spec.html) in the UK and will self prime up to 5 metres and are capable of 10M head pressure.
I hope this helps
