How do you know they have breed? Mine only come out after a hour or so when the lights go off and than they are only out for a few minutes that I've seen.
My LFS says you can never have enough nassarius snails!

Mine lay eggs all the time, but I've never seen a baby. I'mm pretty sure they turn into tank food.

What type of Nassarius snail do you have? Picture? The most common ones in the hobby will breed and lay eggs, but the hatched larvae rarely survive.
There are a couple of much less common Nassarius that appear to breed and lay eggs that develop directly into crawling juveniles. Their survival is supposed to be much higher. I have one of these species in my tank but have not found a single baby yet.
Hermit crabs and other crabs and shrimp are the usual predators of baby snails.

Don't you need two to have babies? :D
How many marine snails can be asexual?

ZERO :) Marine snails are all divided into males and females.
BTW, my Nassarius snails HAVE successfully bred, found 5 juveniles cruising around with the adults at feeding time.
