LOL, that's pretty good.

My office building is only a couple of blocks from the court building, so I'm glad it's over just so the media is gone. It took me nearly 2 hours to get home the other day.

So stupid, he had the world by the tail and blew it for something like this. Pearson I work in downtown Raleigh and you should have seen the media circus around the Nifong case. Geez! What a zoo. I'm glad that one is over too.

Hey Carmie,

That's a cool toon. Where did you find it?

Thanks for the info on fixing my posting problem. It worked.

An 8 dog jury seems somewhat unfair. Should have added Pluto, Blue (Blue Clues), Courage the cowardly dog and some other famous cartoon dog I can't think of. Is Goofy even a dog?

Or perhaps the spirits of the dogs he terrorized and murdered.

Well just Ren is in the cartoon. Stimpy was a cat.

I am glad that fixed it Dick. :) The cartoon was making the rounds at work and I thought it was great. Bobby, Clifford was always a favorite at our house. In fact I was driving with my 19 yo son a couple weeks ago and we went past a street named Clifford. He says to me "I think they should have to put 'the Big Red Dog' on that sign"!

Is Goofy even a dog?

Yes, although it's odd that he has a dog (Pluto) of his own. As a bulldog owner, I don't even want to start on this story -for all the good that might come from more awareness of dogfighting, I see far more harm coming from breed specific legislation and BS laws being passed.:madmad:

What everyone ought to take out of this is it is not a DOG problem it is a PEOPLE problem!

I totally agree carmie. I have owned 2 pitbulls and they are the most loving dogs I've owned in my life. Most of my friends own pitbulls and they're all big lapdogs too. (by big mean BIG, one, Cesar is 135lbs!) The only dog's I've encountered that were a problem were owners who were actually afraid of their dogs. As with any pet, If you are afraid of it you shouldn't own it.

How can anyone be afraid of their own dog?

good question. still don't understand that one.

CarmieJo

Because they don't understand dogs and try to be their friend instead of their master. Dogs LIKE to know that you are in charge. I am not advocating being mean, just being the boss.
