For the last week I have been working on a website to get a local club started. This reef addict needs some off line company, lol! Through my job I can advertise in the 3 local papers free, so getting the word out will be easy. Am hoping to start this in a couple of weeks.

The website still needs some work & some features/functions added (photo gallery & personal blog, some editing, etc.) Most of my week was spent building a coral database. That was a labor of love, researching all the corals. Almost all the pictures are from Totally Exotic Corals website (many thanks to Keith.) I am also working on some articles for starting a sw tank, etc. So please take a look at the beginning of my new local club & feel free to post comments if something is not right or wrong (especially the corals) :sailing:

Coming soon to Southern Oregon: Jackson County Reef Club

You have a good beginning. I'd suggest alphabetizing the coral list. Feel free to link to ReefReaders articles and podcasts.

Thanks Carmie, I would LOVE to link to ReefReaders & podcasts! That would be wonderful. http://www.forumup.com/images/smiles/slider_thankyou.gif

Alphabetizing the coral list, lol! I started with the A's and was surprised with the Z's ending on top! I finally figured out to make it work right!

Thanks Tim too! It's my masterpiece in the making, lol.

This weekend I decided to go with my first choice on a domain and am changing the name of the club to JC Reef Buddies. This way I can go with Jackson & Josephine Counties. We can call it a "club" when there are more members, lol!

Also changed my template & how I am going to do the coral id's. So this is the new link to the work in progress:

I just looked for a minute but I like what I saw. If you can do it with the template I would put the forward and back buttons higher.
