So heres my stocklist for the 15gal that cycling. Its got around 12-15 lbs of LR in there (base and live mixed), a shallow sand bed, and a canister filter is pending for the near future (before i get the fish)

Fish:
-1 pair of either oscellaris, black, or true percula clowns.
-1 hi fin banded goby
-1 neon goby.

Inverts:
-mixed LPS and softies, i may try my hand at some montipora frags placed high in the tank but mostly just LPS.
-10 blue leg hermits
-5 astrea snails
-1 fighting conch
-1 brittle star
-1 emerald crab/sally lightfoot
-1 true peppermint shrimp
-1 scarlet cleaner shrimp
-1 tiger pistol or sexy anemone shrimp (optional)
-maybe a condylactus anemone?????

Well? do i have it well planned out or do i need to go lighter? I can live without one of the gobies or both, the main stars are going to be the clown pair but id like to have the shrimp/goby symbiosis as well if possible.

I think it might be a little heavy but I stock my own tanks lightly.

wow what a spread. I agree that is is stocked up. just make sure your filteration is damn good. and stay up on the water changes.
ps the clowns wont go in the condi if thats what you are looking for.

really they wont go into the condi? oh well, thats the only anemone that id feel safe puting in such a small tank so maybe they'll host something else..it doesnt really matter.

the condy will also move around and sting other corals in such a small tank, i would go with a smaller Sebea Anemone.

Thats enough for a 30g! :) I would chose two fish and either the peppermint or cleaner. I would also recommend exchanging 5 of your hermits for some Nassarius or other sand moving snail. The hermits are OK, but have little productive effect compared to the emerald or sally. Sallys can get pretty large, so you may want to steer clear of them in a 15g.

Brace yourself for some nitrate issues. Do you have a skimmer? You may want to plan ahead and set up a refugium or have a chamber with Chaetomorpha. Don't skimp on the water changes.

Two cents,
