Umm he decided to move around a bit, and became trapped in the current. he just drifts along the floor and hasn't attached to anything. how can i help him plant his foot somewhere???

very cool, thanx!:D i've never heard of anyone feeding mushrooms but the one i have has grown rather large easily a 5inch diameter, does it need to be fed anything specific?

it does not NEED to be fed (they are photosynthetic), but feeding it wont hurt it. do you have a pic of it ?? is it a giant elephant ear mushroom ??

looks like an elephant ear shroom. they are known to eat fish so if any come up missing i would look there. i had one that was amost 12" across.

thats awsome!!! not the fish eating part, but that they get so large! So should i supplement the energy he gets from light with anything, or should it be fine the way it is? if so what would be good, chunks of fish?

it should be fine with nothing added, but feeding it pieces of silversides will not hurt it either. it might even keep it from eating your fish when it gets big enough. let me try to find a pick of the one that i had.
does it close up like a draw string garbage bag ?? puffed out on the bottom, but closed on the top ??

hmm, it doesn't really look like that, and it doesn't really move or react when touched a whole lot. it would prolly have a difficult time eating fish
