There are several of these tube worms or whatever they are, on the rock that my mushrooms came on. They have a white stem. They seem to have just popped up recently. Are they good or bad ? Do they irritate the mushrooms? The mushroom behind this one in the picture, has been folded away from it for a few days, so I don't know if the tube worm or whatever it is, is irritating the mushroom, or if the mushroom is getting ready to split or what. Should I remove these things, or leave them alone?

Feather dusters are good filter feeders and take out some of the smallest particles from the water column...I have many of these smaller ones growing out of my sand..NO CLUE where they came from..I'm guessing as hitch-hikers on live rock! But I love them!
