Yesterday i was raised to a Master Mason in my local Lodge. This was quite a meaningful event for me, and i am proud to be considered part of a Lodge. The Craft has played a major role for me throughout most of my life, albeit mostly in the background. No one in my family, that i know of anyway, was a Mason; however, i grew up down the road from the George Washington Masonic Temple in Alexandria, VA so i saw Masonic symbols everywhere. I have wanted to join for a long time but never knew a member.
Who knows, maybe i can start a Masonic Reefers club :)

Do you have a little link where it explains your new position? Would love to know about it :-)

Sure i can give you some links. Careful about doing an internet search on us though, there is a lot of crap out there.
This is a good one from the University of VA:
Religious Movements Homepage: Freemasons (http://religiousmovements.lib.virginia.edu/nrms/Masons.html)
Some good books are Born in Blood and Who's Afraid of Freemasons? Also most of the grand lodges of the states are online: California, Colorado, Virginia.
For more information beyond this drop me a pm.
Oh, and FYI, there is no national treasure....at least that i have seen :)
