Does anyone have any suggestions for a few good books on corals. I have a couple of months to researh before I start my frag tank.

Also. "Corals of the World" by Dr. JEN Vernon. A three volume set that catalogs literally thousands of corals from around the world in a great pictorial presentation. Great for identifying, to some degree, the corals we find and purchase. I say, "to some degree", because as many authoritative authors have pointed out, to correctly ID corals, some need skeletal examination to be sure of the correct identity.
A voluminous work of art on a subject so dear to our hearts that every coral enthusiast should own it, along with the previously mentioned books.
I happen to be fortunate enough to own them and many others.

I'm still saving pennies to buy that 3 volume set...They're expensive ! :eek!:

:eek!: Yes they are but, worth every penny. I lucked out at MACNA a couple of years ago, a dealer there had 3 sets and was selling them out for $125. I should have bought all three. I wasn't thinking ahead.
