Hi there,
Was wondering if anyone else had a Copperband in their Reef tank & if they've ever seen or heard of a Copperband eating Bristleworms.
Had mine for just over a year now,got lucky and got a healthy,hungry one.
Lately my Lamarcks angel has been givin' him some grief,as Angels tend to do as they grow to Bully size.But so far my Copperband has been able to stay out of her(female Lamarck) way.
Anyhoo...It's nice to be here & please feel free to comment on your favorite Reef fish!!

:welcome: to TR. I don't have a butterfly. My favorite fish in my tank right now is my sixline wrasse. I love blue throat triggers but my tank is not suitable for one.

My favorite fish is the lawnmower blenny, with the sixline wrasse being next. Blennies are so comical... ya gotta love em.

i kept a big Aussie copperband in my reef for a number of years, and it did fine. the Aussie fish don't really eat appies, but they take prepared foods more readily than those from the Indian Ocean (they're also quite a bit more pricy). while it snipped all the fanworms in the tank, i never saw it take a bristleworm.

I know six line wrasses and some dottybacks eat 'em,and the way my mine patrols the rocks,I figured someone had maybe seen a Copperband take a nip or two.Thanks Greg.

i had a leopard wrasse in that system that ate BW's as well as FW's...it just recently died of old age.
