Everyone talk about Coral Stings. What happen down the road when everything grows in to each other? Do they fight or just accept what happens? The reason I ask my hammer and Green Goniopora are growing fast and they seam like they might meet in a couple of months. Should I move them or leave them alone? :geef:

When corals sting they can kill each other. The hammer will have sweeper tentacles that can extend a few inches. I'd move them apart.

Yes, move them if you can. my hammer has sweepers 6" long. After I moved my torch further away, it stopped sending out sweepers. The torch would easily kill the goni.

corals grow and a tank can become over crowded. if you're like me, i buy frags... then get bigger and i have to cut back on them.
good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
any pics of your hammer?

in your case i agree with everyones recommendation.. you should move them apart..

that said, there are some cases when "some" corals can touch. with some stony corals you can grow them or fuse them together. its kind of cool..

again this is not common and proper space should be given to your corals
