i have a 45 gallon tank with 96 watt 10,000 and 96 atnic and a regular 20 watt pc is that enought light to have a squamous clam???

What's the depth? Squamosa clams are fairly tolerant of low light, but they also grow pretty big (if I recall correctly), so 45g may be too small in the long run.

as mentioned, the lighting should be fine, barring an excessive tank depth. T. squamosa can get large, but you should be fine size-wise for awhile.

clams appreciate a stable, mature system, and you'll do best if your tank has at least 6 months of maturity under its belt. also, you'll want to keep an eye on your Ca...450-475 ppm is best, but be sure to keep it above 400 ppm.
