ended up buying a tank and stand.....

Tank ran about 81 which is AWESOME for holding an HQI in an enclosed hood. The top was barely warm. I guess they figured that issue out.
We are going to turn it into an SPS tank. It was really sweet setup in the store.
There are four things I would change, but nothing I can't deal with, adapt to or fix.

that is sweet! can't wait to see some pics when you get it up and running.
what are the dimensons of the tank?
i'm just curious because i have a stand that i am waiting to put a tank on. (i can't find a ballast to replace the ballast from my 12 gallon and, will probably be purchasing a whole new nano.)

I'm not sure of the dimensions. I won't actually have it until the end of this month when they are released.

just what Renee and i need...another tank, right? but we saw one up and running, and they are SWEET. MUCH nicer than the Red Sea 34's. in our defense, we WERE planning to pick up another "plug-n-play" for my office anyhow, altho now i think i'm gonna bring the JBJ 12 over and keep the 24 and the 28 at home.
Sheli,
we don't actually have the tank in our possession yet (we get it in a week or two), so can't give you the dimensions, but it's close to a JBJ 24. just off the top of my head, it seems a bit taller.
the nice thing about the plug-n-plays is they get up and running pretty fast, and we have lots of cured LR on hand.

one more question....
is it high/tall enough for seahorses?

I wouldn't put horses in it. It's more deigned for critters that need higher light and higher flow. The tank runs "cool" for the lighting it contains but it's not cool enough for horses. The dimensions looked like it would be tight for full grown horses.

thanks. i've always wanted to get a couple of seahorses but, haven't found a tank that i want.
