Im looking to buy this refugium/skimmer for my Biocube 29gal seahorse display tank.
One, is it a good deal...and two, what mods would i have to make to tank to be able to hang this off of the back of the tank and still close the stock hood?

Sapphire Hang-on Refugium 18 [HOB18 P/S] - $299.95 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce (http://www.sapphireaquatics.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5&zenid=013b2f97b96390a41719e35418a0df47)
its either that one or the skimmerless fuge, the $100 price difference really makes a difference when it comes to deciding which one to get.

I'm not familiar with that particular fuge, but I do have a hang on. I really wish it was bigger. I have cheato and sand in mine, and that's all there is room for. I've heard that the small skimmers built into hang on fuges don't do much, but every little bit helps. Like I said, I'm not familir with this particular model, I'm just speaking in general...

:(Sorry, I've been super busy at work and am way behind on my posts.
I've heard some very positive things about Sapphire Aquatics but can't speak to this specific product. I will say that it looks like it has some really nice features.

I have a skimmer from them and I met the owner. Very nice guy. How long is the tank across the back? How many inches?
