Busy, busy, busy :)

That's a lot of "pasta" tangled up in there! Reactor this, UV that.. wow!! In any case, it looks good..

My only suggestion... the overflow for the skimmer cup... a cup like that is just waiting to spill. Find an empty Gatorade bottle; the ones with the big cap. Drill the cap so the hose can slip in there. It's a) more stable and b) closer to air tight. This way if it gets jostled, it may not tip and b) the funky smell of the nasty skimmate isn't as likely to be airborne ;)

Welcome to TR Miami!!

You may want to use Zip Ties or what do they call them...yeah...cable ties to bundle up some of that pasta.

Hi endy,

:welcome: to TR. It looks like you have EVERYTHING. I like the shelf for test kits, very handy. I agree with Dave's advice about the skimmer overflow. I use a rectangular bottom Ocean Spray juice bottle made of pretty heavy plastic and so far it has not tipped over. :)

on a side note....is it really a good idea to have a skimmer overflow cup? I've always understood that it's better to clean the cup on a weekly basis in order to remove all the skum on the inside column of the cup in order to increase skimmate production. How long are you guys leaving your cups in place before cleaning them?

it depends on many things.. if you can clean it regularly its usually not an issue. but if your skimmer production rate is high and/or you may be out of town or something, having this setup will allow you to not worry about it
