Guys,

I need some thoughts and ideas on how to hang the lighting unit, we had our first wet run today, went to hang the lighting unit first, but it seems we have steel guirders in the ceiling, we probed in a number of places but to no avail.

The tank is up against a wall, any good ideas how we can suspend the HQI lighting Unit over the tank without drilling the ceiling ?

Well since the tank is against the wall you might be able to drill into the wall with some large 90 degree shelf supports. Not sure what they are actually called but they are in the shape of a L. You could ultimately hang the lights off of the end of them and then place a shelf on the top as well. Might give you more room to store testing equipment or a nice culture of phytoplankton :)
