K-2 viper lights review?

Hey all, found out about this site by the podcast. Well, my question is if anyone has any reviews on the k-2 viper light. The fish store i go to says it would be fine if i just clamped it on my tank. I have pc bulbs right now. My tank is a 29 gallon long reef tank.

They're okay. You have to make sure that no kids could possibly get next to it to touch it.... they run HOT.

I have never owned one of these. But the one at our LFS died after 2 days. And it wasn't the light bulb. They replaced it with the Coralife model, it also creates lots of heat, but atleast it stayed working until someone bought it.
