Compatiblity questions

How well will a snowflake eel do with clownfish, they are about 2 1/2 - 3 inches. Also anyone have any experience with an auriga butterfly, aka the threadfin butterfly. thanks

How well will a snowflake eel do with clownfish, they are about 2 1/2 - 3 inches.

My boyfriend's snowflake ate his pink-faced wrasse, so a clownfish would be an after dinner mint.

if the eel is small it should be fine, but an adult snowflake eel may eat a small to medium sized clownfish...
so while a small percula may be dinner and adult tomato clown, clarkii, or maroon clown should be fine

thanks any1 know anything about regal angels, i have many majanos it can eat, i am told it eats coral

i cant speak to them specifically, but "generally" normal angel fish are not reef safe and require very large tanks

im sure others will add there feedback soon

its not a reef tank its a fowlr but has many majanos, which it supposedly eats? anyway. the tank is 90 gallons

I thought clowns were toxic to other fish,I guess some have cast iron tummys.LOL.glad to know this thanks.

I've had luck with my angel, although I know it's not the case for everyone. They get a bit unhappy when there's not a lot of food around to eat...that's when they start picking at the corals. I try to keep mine well-fed, but like I said, he's been pretty well-behaved!
