a harem of anthias

how many anthias do i need to make a harem. some local club members were telling me that i need six anthias to make a true harem where 5 females and one male would emulate their natural environment. is this true? i have 4 lyretails right now so i wanted to know should i get the two more?

ok i was trying to get a harem of lyretails going. i had 4 lyretails and was going to get 2 more. one died today from starvation and stress. one of the females was turning into a male and that is the aggressive one. he/she was pestering them and i noticed that only two would come out and a third one during feedings. now i have three which are fine but i dont know how to proceed. should i try and add the other lyretails together so as to limit aggression? what can i do to get them all in there without this happening again?
