and sine astrea snails are colder water snails, we should probably be avoiding them all together.. :)
but that said, good advice and another reason to QT everything you get.. :)

whenever you buy snails, particularly Astrea and turbos, you should inspect them with a mag. glass and give them a scrub with a soft toothbrush and a good swish in SW before the QT begins.
