So petsmart incase anyone didnt know, Price matches online retailers as long as you have a printout of the page, including sale prices of an item!!

So for example my local petsmart had a Rena XP3 on sale for 189.99, I found an ad online at big als for 84.99 for the excact same filter!! I printed off the ad, brought it in, the manager said no problem, and shabam! great deal. Great way to save money buying online with no waiting, and no shipping charges!! now if they deny you this request, which they cannot, as it is company policy, have them call corporate and ask them =DD

Anyways, just thought i would share this little tidbit of info on a great way to save some green!!

thanks! no, no catch, its just a little known fact!! you can do it with salt, chemicals, filter media and everything. I don't think it works with livestock, but god help you if you buy your fish from petsmart. Try it next time you go in !

I have done this several times for salt. The online price for the IO bucket is like $35 and they will honor the printout price. The savings I get versus the $60 my LFS is forced to charge (not their fault) I spend on livestock (at the LFS) where they can compete with a box store.
