I picked up this coral a few weeks ago from one of my lfs. Was wondering if anyone knew what it was. Has gone through Qt and is now happy in my tank.

So dropping limbs is how they propigate? How big can they grow?

im sure they have a sexual reproduction as well, but in the tanks the common method of reproduction is asexual, in a Kenya Trees case they drop limbs. most of mine are about 4-5" tall, they may get bigger. mine have not grown taller in about 2-3 months.
yes, this is a type of asexual reproduction called budding, and its common with soft corals, and some stony corals
