I'm not sure if this was suggested in the past but I would love to see a video podcast of your (Rob) tank setup with some some general info about your system setup and inhabitants. In many of your video podcasts I've noticed that we just get a small shot of your system and I would really like to see the whole thing. Video tours of tanks are great and show movement which is something photos cannot. Also it would be great if others with extensive setups would submit videos to add to the podcast. Just an idea. Let me know what you think.

i have and will continue to ask everyone to submit the video sif they have them
as for me, i was going to do one, but after my disaster i went through my tanks not in much of a show condition, besides, i have a show schedule that takes me out quite some time so it may be a while before i get anything like that together.. :)

Yeah I figured your disaster really would effect your tank being in show quality for this type of podcast. I would like to encourage others to submit quick videos of their setups. I will try to do the same soon. Rob, I hope you get your system back the way you want it soon and I really appreciate all the hard work you put into this site and the podcasts. Thank you.

;) We've got secrets...we've got secrets...

Seriously, like the Nike commercial says "Just do it!"

You will soon see the release of at least two video podcasts by TR members. It is not hard, it is just something that takes a little time.

tank tours are nice. DIY projects are cool. There are a LOT of different things you could do to put together an informative Vid-Cast.

Are you setting up a new tank? Document it in film...a video journal of sorts, much like the "tank journals" you see on this forum.

Are you MOVING a tank? If so, document. Did you capture that awesome moment of a spawning? Do some research on it, give us 10 minutes or so of YOUR words and reporting on the topic and support it with the video images.

You can even make a video podcast of still images with narration over it.

Personally, the reason I LOVE TR is because we have a very intelligent, creative, and passionate group of people here. THIS IS YOUR HOME, your project as well as Rob's. Take a stand, invest in your Talking Reef and again.. Just do it!

Dave

PS.. when my vid cast comes out.. I don't need any comments on how much weight I've put on over the Holidays :)
