Rob is going to make a calculator section for us!

I have volunteered to collect the links and/or formulas. What calculators would be useful to you? If you have a link to a calculator you like please give me the link. If you don't have a link let me know what you'd like and I will try to find the formula.

I have a volume calculator, substrate calculator and a gallons to liters converter all in one. if someone can host it and put the link i'll be glad to send you the file. i liked it cause it lets you know how many pounds of substrate you'll need for a specific tank. like if you want a 4" DSB on a 75gallon, its something like 100lbs, just an example.

Rob, is there any reason why I couldn't put this on my TR website? (Seeing as it is sitting there empty since I am still procrastinating on getting it up and running!)

sure, but we can host it right here on the TR site
i'll just need all the files and i can put it together.

lets gather all the details up and then send it all to me in one message (easier for me to track) and i will get it on my list.. :)

Thanks. Why don't we keep this open for a week or so and then I will give it to you in a tidy package?

thansk again carmie..

here are some basic rules of what i can do...
i can not "host" a calculator done by someone else without permission.
i can link to them though.

so if you "own" the calculator, understand i need you explicit approval, and i will host the code on my servers
of permission is not given please also be specific and i will simply "link" to the calculator

Sadly i dont own the chemistry calculator. I thought that might be a hitch. If its necessary I could send jdieck a PM and see if he owns it, and would be willing to allow it to be hosted here, but it seems just as easy to link it.

either way works for me, being a content creator myself, i MUST uphold others rights along with common courtesies. along with properly crediting the author of the content.. :)
