my royal gramma is not looking too good at all. He eats but he's got a spot of white on his dorsal fin that seems to be like a fungus/fin rot/injury SOMETHING and i dont know what...plus his mouth looks all funky with his top jaw protruding. i cant quite describe it so i took a video, tell me what yall think.

It's hard to see in the video while he is moving around, even though he is cooperating quite nicely. A high quality digital close-up photo would help. A sore, injury or other anomoly in the mouth area most often progresses rapidly because it becomes uncomfortable for him to eat. Is he still eating? If so, I'd soak his food in Selcon or another food enhancement product. He needs all the help you can give him. What diet do you feed him?

he eats fine still which surprises me. I feed all of them a sanfrancisco bay brand frozen food 1/4 cube every other day switching off between the carnivore meaty food and a more vegetarian food.
No it doesnt look like ich, i have delt with freshwater ich before so i know what it looks like. Looks more like a spot of rot or something. Should i start trying to remove him to a quarantine tank?

Based on what I can see and what you've told us, I wouldn't move him. QTing a fish is more to prevent communicable diseases from spreading. This appears not to be contagious. Moving him may exacerbate the sore spot by rubbing it in the net or whatever.

so what do you suggest that i do besides watch him and go about my normal maintenence procedures?

That's about it. Do you have a cleaner shrimp? If not you might want to get one or two. Besides picking some parasites they will pick at necrotic tissue helping it to heal.
