could someone ID this thing. It came with my feather duster which the duster is attached to small rock. Just want to make sure if it is good or not.

Looks good...
Looks like either some type of colonial polyp or even a white Tubastrea. Whether it is white due to natural coloring (there are light/white corals) or by bleaching is up for discussion.
I'd say you got a nice hitch hiker. What kind of lighting do you have?

I just got a shipment of a bunch of small inverts and a few of my scarlet hermits have those growing on their shells.... among other things.

if those are white Tubastrea ... i WANT some when they grow up !! they would make a GREAT addition to my yellow/orange and my black sun corals !!
