I was putting primer on one of my pvc elbows and some went into the u part of the elbow, eventually when I have water running through, will that be harmful to fish?

Yea Rob, I actually commented about the video in my tank journal, it was a huge help. I have a question about how the pvc comes into your tank. Can I use a pvc that looks like a T? I cant remember the name of it.

yes, T-joints can be used, just keep in mind they can restrict flow in certain cases, there are certain types of T's that are rounded and if placed in right will reduce the the amount of flow restriction, if you have more specific plumbing questions feel free to post in one of the equipment forums, we have many people that are quite familiar with this stuff, and we even have our own resident master plumber, that has been doing plumbing longer than i have been alive.. ;)
