Hello everyone, I was curious to know who here in our community is the Nudibranch Guru since I have some questions concerning this species of aquatic life.

You can always throw the question(s) out there and see who knows the answer! I'm presently keeping one.

Seahorsedreams, that is the most beautiful Nudibranch I have seen. I'm actually keeping three in my little 10 gallon aquarium. I was curious as to what is your care regimen for your Nudibranch?

He's very pretty. I couldn't through him out.

He's living in a 1 gallon tank. He was a hitch-hiker we found when we moved. (chewed a hole in the leather before we got to him). I just change out some water every few days and throw some leather frags in there.

That picture shows me a nudi that likes to eat leathers, and probably Xenia too... a one gallon tank, coral free is the right place for it. What do you feed it Renee?

JayBeNesting.. :) Have you tried the "seaslug forum"?

I don't have xenia.... it likes colt and toadstool. I have enough colt to feed 50 million of these things.

jay (welcome back BTW.. :D ),
i too suggest the seaslug forum (http://www.seaslugforum.net/)
what you will find is that many nudi's are VERY specialized in there care and nutrition needs. so for example, how Seahorsedreams cares for hers may very well have little value on how you care for yours. this is not always the case, and of course general items can be transposed. i recommend getting a positive ID on it and check out the care and specifically the nutritional needs.

most all nudibranchs are monolithic eaters, as in they only eat on thing, like Seahorsedreams, hers eats leather corals tissue. and will likely not touch anything else, so meeting the nutritional needs of nudis can be challenging as well.. :)

best of luck to ya, and if we can help any, feel free to ask. you can post in our invertebrate section if you have more detailed questions..
