View Full Version : Tunze i have been looking at the Tunze NanoStreams, any chance you guys will be carrying them anytime soon? I am also interested in these. aquabuys 12-05-2006, 10:36 AM Yes. :agree:
We will have the Nano Streams and the controllers. We have some of the other Tunze equipment on order as well. I will post here when they are in stock. awesome, thanks so much.. :)
if you can.. can you give me an idea on what oyu will be charging for the various components? (ie different stream models and the controllers) and if Talkingreef members get any discounts?
if you can not provide this info yet, i understand... aquabuys 12-06-2006, 02:13 PM The Nano Stream 6055 is the only one that is controllable with either the single or the multi controller.
Nano Stream 6055: $209.99
Multi Controller 7095: $239.99
Single Controller 7091: $58.99
We are thinking of offering a free shipping deal on the Tunze Streams and Controllers for Talkingreef members!
Note the 6055 is due in by the end of December or first week of January. We do have the controllers in stock and will post more details on the other parts here and on our website in the coming weeks. ok, i think the 6055 with the controller is going to be a bit much for one pump, im actually thinking of doing 2 maybe 3 of the 6025
although i have been tossing around the idea of dropping most of the powerheads and trying out the wavebox.. :) but that things expensive... so ill prolly just go with the 6025s
thanks again for the info,
do you have price and availability info for the 6025 or 6045? aquabuys 12-09-2006, 01:41 PM do you have price and availability info for the 6025 or 6045?
Nano Stream 6025: $61.99
Nano Stream 6045: $96.99
We hope to have some of the 6025's in stock in the next week or two and then first of January for the 6045 and the 6055.
and just for giggles
Wavebox 6212: $504.99 :o
The wavebox causes a true wave (or rocking motion) so I would recommend having a very sturdy reinforced stand.
Will keep posting as we get these in stock. Seahorsedreams 12-09-2006, 04:12 PM Should I create another thread to discuss the wavebox? Should I create another thread to discuss the wavebox?
yes, if you have further question i would post it in the equipment forum, adn you can place a link back here if you want.. :)
Sam, thanks for the info, i do appreciate it..
if you get a moment, when you get them in, a post here, would be awesome, just so everyone (and me) knows they are back in stock.. :) BrianPlankis 12-11-2006, 01:20 PM I'm interested in the Nanostreams as well. Is the 6045 still targetted for early January?

Yay Talkingreef pays off yet again. NaClFinatic 02-14-2007, 04:40 PM Have you been able to get the nanostreams in stock? I didn't see them on the site. I am looking to get a 6045. hey, not to bring up an old thread, but i was wondering if you got these yet...
im looking for 2 of them.. the 6045's i think... CarmieJo 03-21-2007, 12:30 AM And I am looking for 6025's. Reefbaby 03-23-2007, 02:15 PM Hey - not to hijack the thread or anything, but Sam, have you heard of the Tunze streams having an overheating problem?
We bought two 6100 Streams this past fall with a multi-controller and just last week I noticed that one of the pumps wasn't working. We picked up the transformer and it was super hot and bulging and kind of melted. ???? Do you know if this is a common problem? I've already contacted the e-retailer that we bought it from, but haven't heard back yet.
like I said...not wanting to hijack or anything! http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/images/smilies/love3.gif aquabuys 03-23-2007, 03:09 PM We are still waiting on our first shipment of the Nano Streams to arrive. Seems like months now that they have been on order.
I kinda suspected that there may be some problems considering the number of times the pumps have been delayed in production but I have not heard of any specific issues. I am still hoping to get some in stock however as it seems to be one of the better smaller prop style powerheads. Reefbaby 03-23-2007, 03:34 PM sorry, I wasn't talking about the Nano streams....mine's one of the bigger ones. I was just curious if, as a retailer, you've heard of these kinds of problems. :) |
