Thanks guys. This is our first Blasto & I read that this specific one is alot hardier than the other type. Plus for $50 I think is a good price.

Wow! That's beautiful DJGonzo69!

I've got a Blastomussa wellsi (red) and it's one of my favorite corals. Enjoy...

Thx. Christi. We've always wanted a blasto, & when I saw it I was all over it. Do you have yours on the sand bed, or on a rock?

Mine's up on a rock. I have a coral sand bed and my yellow watchmen goby is constantly dropping pebbles all over anything that I leave on the sand bed, so until I switch over to a fine sand bed (southdown), I think I'll be keeping things up on the rocks!
btw, mine loves to actively feed. I spot fed it for awhile in the beginning, but then it got pretty good at catching stuff even when my pumps on on, so I don't really bother any more.

Yeah I know what you mean. On the 12 gal tank we have a diamond goby that just eats/sift the sand & it comes out of the gill area. So it showers anything that's under it with sand. We have a a few sun corals that we take out of the 30gal tank & target feed it in a another plastic container. This way we can bombard it with cyclopeze, microvert, krill, formula one without affecting the water quality in the main tank. I should start to include the blasto in there too. I want it to grow bigger.

looks ten times better than my $5 frag that is probably why yours was $50. Looks great!!

Nice looking frag. I have a red and green one. Mine grows extreemly fast, especially in periods when I feed it. It is one of my favorites
