Ok Im Staring at my Tank to Much.. Another ID

Can someone help me ID this?

My first question, to help me with my ID research, would be...What is that orange substrate? Coral? Rock? Cyano decorated sand? ;)

Second.. what would be your estimated size of that bugger? Length..and girth...

Finally, did it move like a worm (Slide, Peristaltic, or Sinusoidal) ? A snail (true slide)? Move at all?

Any more pics?

Is it flattish? Or rounded?

Could you post that picture without resizing it? If it's too big, use photobucket or something to host.

About 1/16 of Inch maybe smaller in girth, rounded..... I have not seen the hole thing because it is actually not left the rock (Orange Stuff).... It is in a rock where my star polyps are......It did move like a worm it actually came out poked at the rock and went back in (Numerous times)

The picture is 7 Megapixels so that my camera could get all the details & not even photobucket lets me add it without resizing.

Okay... I think I've got it now... one more question (do you feel like your playing 20 questions? ;) ) ... Does it poke out, and move as if a person was tapping a finger.. in and up and down motion..and then go back in? If you put a light on it (after dark) does it immediatly retreat or slowly widthdraw?

If so... probably a Peanut Worm or sipunculid worm.

You don't often see the entire worm exposed. They just stick out what you would call the "head" to feed with their proboscis. The rest is covered with substrate, or burrowed in a nook of Live Rock.

Also i would like to add, I cant speak for everyone here but i think everyone would agree. You cant stare at your tank to much :)
