Hi Rob,

I have just started to listen to your podcasts in my car (on episode 2!). I am a marine beginner, but have been reading alot to try to prepare myself for my first tank.

I have been watching quite a few marine setups, both reef and f/o on ebay that go for quite reasonable money. I am in the UK.

What would your advice be on buying one with stock? My questions are about things like transporting fish and tank, cycling water etc, shock, setting the system back up.

I have seen complete systems from £30 (Yes - £30 Was a bargain but too far away) to £600 with sumps, skimmers, corals, fish, pumps etc

Looking forward to catching up with the podcasts to get up to date.

Stephen Franks

that's a tricky one..
i would highly recommend having and experienced reefer go with you to make sure you are buying something worth it.. i suppose for 30 pounds, there's not much to worry about. but if you are going to be spending real money, they i would recommend that...

regarding moving and stuff like that, keep listening, i cover that in some later episodes.. actually go into some good detail..lol

BTW, welcome to the site, and the show..
:D
