That was the idea with iTunes.....I wouldn't have to grab it myself. LOL

I clicked the link and downloaded...listening to it right now.

I'll just end up with another copy when iTunes grabs it automatically.

yeah iTunes is the best way.. but it can take up to 30 minutes for it top update.. (unless i manually force it.

since i JUST published this show, i hadn't forced the update yet..

if you check in itunes now you should see it.

yeah iTunes is the best way.. but it can take up to 30 minutes for it top update.. (unless i manually force it.

had a bit extra content, and it was kind of time sensitive, well, the NSW comment was, so i figured i would just throw a little show together.

Yeah when Felipe was played the first time and I listened to that and that was cool.. and then at the Atlanta reef club meeting, Felipe found me and was like "hey i'm that guy that was on TR" and I was like "OMG!" I had no idea Felipe even lived in Atlanta much less would find me at a meeting!! I thought that was very cool!!

That's pretty cool. Wish we had a club up here....I think there's one down in Fargo (80 miles south of me)....but I really don't care to make that drive.

Read about MACNA, think that might be neat to go to....maybe meet some people there, but it does sound large...not like a club meeting.

wow i always wanted to go to one of these events. is this where they introduce new products and trade corals? ive seen pix of the last event, it looks so exicting..

Personally, I'd like to ensure that we ask people to subscribe to the feeds. Even if they do, from time to time, take the cast from the site direct, we NEED to ensure that the feed counts are up. Understood? Again, this is a RICH RESOURCE and the health and well being of the site and the podcasts is upon the shoulders of ALL of us. You may not know it, but by simply retrieving from a feed, you are helping the site and its related statistics. ANYTHING that ANYONE can do to support this effort is worth my begging for :D

i couldn't say it better myself...

yes, only accurate way of determining listener ship is by looking at the amount of people that are "subscribed to the feed" using a newsreader/podcatching client like iTunes, ippoder (now called juice) or iPodderX (now called Transistr).

this helps me get leverage for endorsement and site/sponsorships.

but most important, it helps me gage the overall interest in the show, and how many people continue to listen to it.

Spell checkers will not catch the use of the word "be" instead of "me". Be, is a correct spelling of the WRONG word ;) No worries bossman..we have yer backside.

:-) yeah, I have to say I'd be honest too. If I didn't use my own laptop when I was at work....I might download to the work desktop. But at least this way I always have the podcasts with me...at home or at work, granted I don't have much time to listen to them at work. :-(
