Ok so i think i made my overflow box alittle high, or did i?

My water line in the DT is 1/16 inch from the lip on the black plastic support. My question is, is that to high for the water level in the display tank? what would happen if i was to leave it alone? Does it have a better chance to overflow and flood the area? Or does it not matter, if its going to flood it going to flood right?

Any help would be ideal. If i cant get a winning decision from this ill have to drain the water and redo the box :(

No. just imagine the lip that the glass top would sit into. the water line is 1/16 of a inch below that.

Wes, I did the same thing. i ended up having to pull my overflows and move them down. My water was actually hitting my glass tops (when I had them on, now they are history), so i moved mine down to 5/8 of an inch below the plastic rim where the tops would sit.

i keep my water line about 1" from the center support, when i get alot of buildup of gunk on my overflow the water level will go up about 3/4" and i dont want to have another flood.
