Hey Guys!
Well..i think its time for me to get some corals...my tank has been up for 2-3 months now..and my mushrooms and xenia are doing GREAT! And the guy thats leading me says i can buy some corals now (mushrooms and xenia were hook-ups). So does anyone have any reccomendations for my next coral?..and i dont really want anymore mushrooms or xenia, and something not too hard for me too please.
Thanks A Lot for any help
Mark

What's your setup?
Candy Cane, Frog spawn, Hammer are all good starter Corals.

Yeah, what's the setup? Lights? Flow? How's your Calcium, Alk, and PH?

Do you have an end goal? All softies? All LPS? Mixed? All SPS?

oo i thought i listed it somewhere..but its a 50 gallon sea clear system 2 with a refugium in the bio ball space and my CSS 125 returns the water back to the tank. i have 192 watts of powercompact lighting and my KH is 11-12 and calcium is 400-420. pH is around 8.4

Well around here they are about $30 for a rock with a bunch of polyps. The really colorful ones fetch a higher price. Are you in a club? Maybe you could get a frag from someone there. You always see them at frag swaps here.

V, I like the juvi fungia it looks a little "FUNKY".

Zoanthids are easy. Around here they go for $25. to $65. for a 1.5 inch frag depending on color.

I am a softie nut myself, I love my evergreen starburst! A word of warning on them tho if your tank is right they go crazy so try to isolate them on thier own little rock. Zoos are wonderful little critters as well, they come in every color you can think of and twice as many colors as you have ever seen. Same problem tho they spread if you do it right.

Zoos I've seen everywhere from $30 for a huge rock covered in 3 or 4 colors to $20 PER polyp. My expensive ones cost me $4 per but they are spectacular.... I bought 3 and in a month have 5 I figure by next year I'll have more then enough to start fragging bits out to help cover running costs (starbursts are great for this as well as Zenia).
